
QUESTION OF THE WEEK: The writing is on the wall -- and it isn't cursive. Once a staple of elementary school, penmanship has been erased from the new Common Core curriculum, except in California and six other states where efforts are being made to keep cursive in lesson plans. We want to know: In an age when more and more of us communicate via email and texts, do you think it makes sense to ask kids to learn cursive?
